It all started with an idea. What if a family could honour their late brother’s legacy by shining a light on men’s mental health and physical activity? The goal: Establish a $30,000 endowment at NSCC Marconi in Matthew Keating’s name.
December 22, 2020 - Three Brothers Project Hockey Game
More than 30 hockey players donned number 19 jerseys and played a fun game of hockey in honour of Matthew Keating. The event raised $1,500 for the Matthew Keating Memorial Fund, but beyond that, it served as a spotlight for the destigmatization of men’s mental health and the importance of physical activity.
March 31, 2021 - Fundraising Goal Achieved
Goal achieved! In less than six months, Three Brothers Project raised more than $30,000 in order to establish a memorial scholarship fund at NSCC Marconi in honour of the late Matthew Keating. But Three Brothers Project isn’t done. In fact, they’re just getting started.
December 21, 2021 - Three Brothers Project donation to BGC Cape Breton
The Three Brothers Project made a $5,000 donation to BGC Cape Breton. The funds will be used alongside federal funding to install solar lighting systems for the club’s outdoor rink area.
